The Sun is Just Another Star
Publication, 2024
Publication preview
Extending Emma Alvin’s performance artwork into a publication, ‘The Sun is Just Another Star’ drew in a cast of London’s most
exciting young creatives to explore themes of girlhood,
performance and the internet.
The book chronicles all five acts of Alvin’s work, combining poetry, absurd costuming (a two-meter-tall tulle dog) and drama.
Several artists contributed to the content in the book, complimenting the nonlinear and exploritory thesis that inspired the work.
A small print run was produced to be sold directly by the artist.

Nuts Magazine Cabaret - Black Friday
Event, 2023
Event captue taken by attendees
Collaborating with Ana Viktoria Dzinic, Zac Klein worked on the Nuts Magazine Cabaret in celebration of the retail launch of the magazine’s merch collection.
The cabaret mused on a contemporary style of salon-entertainment by inviting London cutlure leaders to respond to a series of prompts with TikTok videos.
Followed by an audiance-led discussion, the aim was to piece together a story about the world as it is ‘right now’, complementing the magazines all or nothing, internainatioal vs local, absurdist approach.
